Zhejiang Kaishan Compressor Co., Ltd. is a professional compressor enterprise with over 60 years of history. It is at present the largest air compressor manufacturer in China, as well as the nation’s largest screw air compressor manufacturer in terms of production and sale. In 2014 the company’s sales revenue was close to RMB 2 billion. Indeed the scale of its production and sales are significantly higher than all other competitors in China, including multinational companies.


The company’s main products consist of screw air compressor, refrigerant compressor, screw expander, gas compressor, and products for environmental engineering and cold-chain industries. Screw compressors comprise of those with power ranging from 4kW to 630kW, and cover motor power, diesel power, mine shaft explosion-proof screw compressor and double-stage compression screw compressor.


Screw expansion technology is a world-leading low-grade heat power generation technology, and includes direct expansion using residual heat and organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) expansion technology. It is capable of using low-grade residual heat and pressure in a tiered and highly efficient manner, with an efficiency and reliability that is world-leading. The technology can be used in large scale in new power sources and recyclable power sources such as geothermal power generation, residual-heat power generation, bio-energy power generation and residual-pressure power generation.

In 2009 Kaishan established in Seattle in the United States, “Kaishan North American Research Center”. Pursuant to the model of “Developed in America, Made in China”, Kaishan has developed a large number of high-tech products for which it has proprietary intellectual property. Espousing a core value of “making contribution towards prudent use of Earth’s resources”, Kaishan has in short order catapulted itself onto the world stage, becoming a leading compressor manufacturer.
